4 yrs + 9 months and 2 yrs + 9 months

Boy, oh boy, these two have birthdays coming up!  5 and 3... oh my!

 Declan has been super busy this month at school.  He had a whole week of "Cowboys", they made horses, panned for gold, had a chuck wagon meal (he tried a brown bean (baked beans), but didn't like it...he said there was too much sugar) and was named sheriff!  He's also been eating like a giant...I mean, he just eats all the time and a lot at each time!  I'm pretty sure he could eat an entire box of penne noodles:)  He loves little oranges and Pirate's Booty too.  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been a couple of times and he's kind of getting into it, but Curious George and Scooby Doo are still a must watch.  We can't wait for it to get warm out, this guy (and Conall too) need to be outside!  He's really excited about turning 5 soon and now that he wears a size 5 he thinks he's even bigger stuff:)  We love you boo!

Conall...oh goodness, somewhere between dumping out more baby powder and drawing on the wall, door and toy box there's a little guy in there that is just too funny!  He brought over a snack that we knew he couldn't reach and when we asked how he got it, he told us "magic!".  Conall got a new carseat last week, he was so excited for the UPS man to bring it and of course they both loved playing with the box:)  Conall is loving school, he loves to pack his lunch and get his tote bag ready the night before and doesn't need Declan or me to walk him in his room anymore.  He's been working really hard on spelling his name and counting.  Conall you're a laughing ball of trouble, but we love you boo 2!

dads night!

"Dad, you are not going to miss this for the world!"- Declan 4 years old.

This past Wednesday was Dads Night at Declan's school and he could not have been more excited!  Tuesday night he was up til after 10 pm practicing his songs:)  After school he took a shower, got dressed up and even put some smell good on!  He helped dad pick out his shirt too.  The two of them went out for pizza before heading to his school.  He told me the next day that dad let him have some pop, but I shouldn't be mad because it was just a special night.  Once they got to his classroom they did puzzles and sang songs for all the dads.  They special place mats and name tags too.  They also made ice cream and had lots of sprinkles!  I'm pretty sure it was better than Christmas...I think BC would agree:)  Here's a little something awesome that they had made for their dads, so great, I mean who knew BC was so good at fixing our roof?!



big spenders

Yesterday we went down to the toy store on Mass Ave (such an awesome place) because Declan has been telling us that his piggy bank is full and he wanted to buy something.  So we headed in to look at our options and to see how much it would cost.  It took us about an hour but he had picked out a pair of handcuffs and Conall picked out a whistle:)  This morning we counted all of their money and sorted out enough to pay for their purchases.  It was a good lesson in saving and spending and so, so fun to watch!

7 months

Our little Galvan C is 7 months old!  This little chunk is weighing in at 18 pounds!  His second tooth (lower left) has come in and he's working hard on the top two...I hope they pop through soon, he doesn't sleep well when he's teething.  He's grabbing and gripping everything, rolling himself all over and is starting to scoot to the side and to the back.  Crawling is sneaking up on us I just know it!  His little taste buds have experienced some avocados and pears, so far so good:)  Galvan normally gets two good naps in, but it really depends on the day.  He just lights up when his big brothers are around...he's their "little buddy" and he loves it:)  He's getting ready to switch car seats, he's just too heavy to lug around anymore! We sure are loving this chubby guy and can't believe he's only 5 months away from turning one!  Love you new boo!

Declan and Conall just keep getting closer to 5 and 3!

With both of them in school now my Wednesday's are just Galvan...I'm missing the big two, but enjoying a little one on one time.  The boys had a wonderful Valentine's Day, lots of treats and stickers from school:)  We've been to the art museum twice this month, they love the kid art room, especially the sand table and cut and glue table.  Once they remember they can't touch the art or run around we'll venture into the exhibits.  They have played together so well over the past couple of weeks, it has been so nice to see.  Now if it would just warm up so they could play outside!  But for now they're content on building blocks, coloring, cutting, gluing and moving all their stuff around:)  We love you boo and boo 2!

Conall's first day of school!

 Conall Bear started school today!  He is in Miss Patti's Mother's Day Out, the same one that Declan did when he was 2.  He was so excited to get to go today, we packed his tote bag last night with everything he needed.  Declan helped him pack his lunch:)  Today was their Valentine's Day party, he made his yesterday...he only ate most of the chocolate hearts that he was gluing on!  We walked him to his classroom and found a hook for his coat and bag, Declan was the best helper and made him feel so comfortable.  He told Conall that if he needed him to just come knock on Mrs. Conard's door and he'd help him:)  There were no tears when I left!  He even fell asleep during their rest time.  His smile was so big when we saw us at pick up, what an amazing first day!
