 Conall Bear was in the circus!  His class put on an amazing show for all of us this week...there were elephants, strong men, tight rope walkers, clowns coming out of a little car, stilt walking and so much more!  It was a fantastic show!

last day at the pool

 The Rivi has closed the outside pools, which means summer is over.  Although we are happy the boys are in school, we are going to miss the pool until Memorial Day.  Here's some pictures from our last day.  It was around 90 degrees, the sun was shining and the boys were loving it!

The little boo's go to school

This morning was the first day of school for Conall and Galvan!  Conall is in  the 4/5 class with Mrs. Conard and Galvan has Miss Patti for Mom's Day Out!  Conall was so excited and ready to go back to school...mostly to play with his buddies I think:)  Galvan went into his classroom so well, he didn't see us leave so I'm wondering when he noticed!  We're just so happy they are in such a wonderful place.  I saved my tears for the car in the parking lot:)  Here's some pics from their morning.

Seamus has a Mrs.!

On August 23 BC's youngest brother, Seamus, got married!  Danielle is wonderful and we're so happy to have her in our family...a new aunt for the boys!  BC was a groomsmen and Declan and Conall (along with 3 of their cousins) were ring bearers...love my guys in tuxes!  It was a great ceremony and a beautiful reception.  A special thank you to my parents who helped with the boys all weekend...we would not have been able to stay out so incredibly late with your grandparenting!  So much family was in town from the O'Rourke and Klein sides, it was awesome to catch up with them all.  We wish Seamus and Danielle a happy, happy life:)

 I have no idea how Declan still has energy...he had basketball and soccer in the morning.  And this was one of the few smiles from Galvan, Conall is obviously ready for bed!



our garden

Here's a look at our garden this year...

we planted tomatoes, several kinds of peppers, squash & zucchini, basil, strawberries and Conall planted sunflowers!

These two have been my little helpers all summer!



1st day of 1st grade!

 Last Thursday all the boys (and this mama) were up extra early to take Declan to school!  First grade!  He was a bit nervous, but dad turned on some basketball and he was ready to go by the time we left:)  This year his teacher is Miss Bidmead and he's signed up for choir!  Along with basketball and soccer, which is going on now.  With the return of school we are back to earlier bedtimes and breakfasts in the car, but Declan loves school and we couldn't be happier!

Camping 2014

 This past weekend we headed over to Shades State Park for some camping!

Our friends, The Howay's, met up with us...they have two boys, Jack 6 and Sam 3.  All 5 blonde boys had an awesome time playing in the dirt, on the playground, roasting s'more's and being one with nature (by that, I mean peeing pretty much wherever!).  We woke up Saturday morning to some rain, not too much thankfully and it cleared up quickly, so we were able to go on a huge hike in the park.  The boys did amazing on the rugged trail...Galvan had it easy in the Ergo:)  The rest of our time there was perfect...great weather and friends!
