If you don't know, Declan LOVES firetrucks! So on Sunday morning we met up with Uncle Jon and he took Declan on a firetruck ride! Declan got to go up on top of the trucks and inside the equipment truck (where we got to see Uncle Jon's helmet) before we went for our ride. Uncle Jon even put the lights and sirens on:) Declan didn't have to much to say during all this, he was just soaking it all in, but on the way home he was so excited to talk about it! Uncle Jon also gave Declan a chocolate donut:)

My cousin Henry was just like that and when Gus was 2 he was in love with giraffes! I miss you sooooo much there was never a better 1st grade teacher and now I want to be one! Hopefully almost as good as you!
